滘西洲 (威士忌灣)

簡介

📍 概況：位於橋咀洲旁，主要潛點為西面威士忌灣及南面滘西灣，天氣欠佳或欲避開橋咀洲人潮時的理想選擇。 🤿 環境：威士忌灣由岸邊 1-3m 珊瑚區、5-6m 沙底，伸延至 6-10m 長滿珊瑚及大小石塊的斜坡；10m 以下為泥底，能見度差。滘西灣 8-9m 內以沙底為主，珊瑚零散。 🐠 生態：6-10m 斜坡常見成群幼魚，間中有躄魚出沒；累計記錄約 104 種生物。 ⚠️ 須知：近西貢碼頭及高爾夫球場航線，水面船隻繁忙，請貼近岸邊於淺水處下潛，升水時施放 SMB；有幽靈網及海膽，不建議潛至 10m 以下。

📍 Overview: Next to Sharp Island, with two main spots: Whiskey Bay on the west and Kau Sai Wan on the south. A good alternative when the weather is poor or Sharp Island feels overused. 🤿 Conditions: Whiskey Bay runs from 1-3m corals near shore and 5-6m sand to a 6-10m slope of corals and scattered boulders; silty mud with poor visibility below 10m. Kau Sai Wan is mostly sandy to 8-9m with sparse coral. 🐠 Ecology: Schools of juvenile fish on the 6-10m slope, with the occasional frogfish; about 104 species recorded in total. ⚠️ Note: Busy boat traffic from Sai Kung piers and to the golf course. Descend near shore in the shallows and use an SMB. Beware of ghost nets and urchins; avoid going below 10m.
