簡介

淡黃至白淨的身軀環繞著數十道深黑如墨的斑斕環帶，在淺水潮池與珊瑚碎石間靈活蜿蜒穿梭。

Patterned with bold dark charcoal rings around a pale cream body, winding sinuously through shallow tide pools and coral rubble.

小知識

與多數長有銳利尖齒捕魚的海鱔不同，蝮鯙屬擁有特化如卵石般的臼齒狀牙齒，專門用來咬碎硬殼螃蟹；幼魚體表黑白環帶極為鮮明對比，隨著成熟體色會逐漸轉為斑駁的棕褐色。

Unlike morays with needle-sharp fangs for gripping fish, it possesses blunt pebble-like molariform teeth specialized for crushing hard crab carapaces; juveniles display high-contrast zebra banding that becomes mottled with age.
