A wide-eyed pelagic stalker showing metallic blue flanks and a distinct black spot at the pectoral fin base.

白天會在大洋陡坡邊緣聚集數百隻形成靜止的旋風魚群，夜間才化整為零游向四周海域捕食。

By day they hover in massive stationary schools along oceanic drop-offs, dispersing into solitary night hunters.
