An elegant ivory-white goby marked with two neat parallel black racing stripes extending to twin filamentous tail ribbons, hovering in devoted pairs over deep sand slopes.

Instantly recognized by twin parallel black stripes running the length of its body and delicate filamentous caudal streamers; it forms lifelong monogamous pairs that cooperate to build and maintain burrows in sandy drop-offs.
