簡介

雄魚帶有藍綠色鱗片與亮藍色垂直橫帶，雌魚則為橘黃色底綴以藍斑，是珊瑚礁啃藻主力。

Males showcase turquoise scales with vertical blue bars, while females are warm orange-yellow with blue freckles.

牠們強硬的癒合齒喙能啃碎死珊瑚表面的硬殼石灰藻，排泄出大量的細白珊瑚沙。

Their fused beak-like teeth scrape algae from dead coral rock, excreting pulverized carbonates as fine white sand.
