簡介
晶瑩淡紅的體側劃過一條深褐水平縱帶宛如繫著馬韁，尾柄生有一枚醒目黑斑，夜幕降臨後便悄然游出石縫覓食。
A translucent rosy-bronze cardinalfish marked by a dark horizontal stripe resembling a bridle through the eye, emerging from shadowy crevices at dusk.
小知識
橫貫吻端並穿過眼部的深色縱帶宛如套在馬頭上的「馬韁（Bridle）」，因而得名「韁天竺鯛」；白天極度羞怯隱蔽，喜好藏於淺礁死珊瑚隙縫或海膽長刺下方，入夜後才外出獵食底棲無脊椎動物。
Named for the prominent dark horizontal stripe running across its snout and eye resembling a horse's bridle; highly nocturnal and secretive, it spends the daylight tucked inside coral recesses or beneath urchin spines.
