Terminal males are adorned with broken electric-blue neon pinstripes, tirelessly cruising shallow reef flats on rapid pectoral fin strokes.
小知識
終期雄魚體側具有數條鮮明的亮藍色斑紋，其中中央橫線在胸鰭後方明顯中斷並向下錯位，因而得名「斷紋」；游動極度迅捷，夜間或遇險時會整隻鑽入沙底沈睡。
Named for the distinctive bright azure body stripes that break and offset behind the pectoral fin in terminal males; an exceptionally swift swimmer that burrows directly into bottom sand to sleep at night.
