簡介

褐紅斑駁的體色完美融入海藻叢與珊瑚礁碎屑中，背鰭前緣生有如旗幟般飄逸的修長絲狀棘條。

Mottled in reddish-brown camouflage amongst algal beds and rubble, brandishing elegant whip-like dorsal filament spines.

小知識

背鰭前部棘條特化延長成如軟鞭般的絲狀拉絲，雄魚求偶或展示威嚇時會將其高高豎起；性情隱密羞怯，常側著身子穿梭於海藻礁石間，如同隨浪擺動的落葉。

Its first few dorsal spines are dramatically elongated into whip-like filaments that males raise during courtship and territorial displays; notoriously cryptic, it often tilts sideways to mimic drifting kelp or debris.
