半透明的淡粉身軀貫穿著數道深紅褐縱帶，大眼在陰暗的礁穴裂縫中晶亮閃爍，成群靜靜懸浮。
A translucent pinkish cardinalfish marked with reddish-brown stripes, hovering quietly in loose schools within shadowed reef caves and crevices.
小知識
體側具有四至五條深紅褐色縱帶，尾柄中央長有一枚清晰的小黑圓斑；雄魚擁有天竺鯛家族典型的「口孵習性」，會將雌魚產下的整坨魚卵含在口中數天至孵化，期間完全絕食。
