牠們白天在大洋強流中高速游動濾食浮游生物，夜晚入眠時體色會迅速轉為暗紅褐色以融入暗礁。

While swimming fast to filter feed in daylight, they rapidly shift to a mottled dark reddish tint when resting in reef crevices at night.
