Cloaked in translucent petal-like cerata edged with vivid orange and white margins, gliding like a fragile butterfly across the reef.
A sacoglossan slug with an extraordinary autotomy defense; when threatened, it casts off several petal-like cerata which continue to wiggle frantically and secrete distasteful chemicals, confusing predators while it slips away.
