The affordable "cod slices" commonly bought in Asian markets are actually this flatfish. The meat is extremely soft and melts in the mouth.

小知識

雖然是比目魚，但牠們並不是永遠趴在海底。牠們的左眼沒有完全移到右側，因此經常像正常魚一樣垂直游泳。

Though a flatfish, they don't just lie on the bottom. Their left eye hasn't fully migrated, allowing them to often swim vertically like a normal fish.
