簡介

為了躲避大洋掠食者，演化出了如鳥翼般巨大的胸鰭。其魚卵被製成著名的「飛魚籽」。

Evolved massive, bird-like pectoral fins to escape ocean predators. Their roe is popularly used as "Tobiko" in sushi.

小知識

飛魚並不是真的在飛，而是利用尾部在水面高速拍打產生推力，然後張開胸鰭在空中滑翔，最長可滑翔數百公尺。

They don't actually fly; they generate thrust by rapidly beating their tails on the water surface and then glide through the air for up to hundreds of meters.
