側扁流線的淡藍身軀散發著珍珠微光，點綴著細密的藍綠縱線，成群在稍深且富含水流的礁坡邊緣游動。

Slender and pearlescent pale blue traced with subtle neon-blue longitudinal lines, hovering in loose aggregations along deeper current-swept reef drop-offs.

小知識

屬於單型屬（Teixeirichthys）的獨特雀鯛，相比大多數棲息於淺礁的雀鯛，牠們偏好棲息於較深的海水（可深達百米）以及泥沙底質附近的孤礁上，以捕食漂游浮游生物為生。

Belonging to the specialized genus Teixeirichthys, it prefers much deeper rocky waters (down to 100 m) than typical reef damselfishes, schooling above silt-sand borders to pluck drifting zooplankton.
