長著翹起來的吸管嘴，白天躲在岩簷下，一身黑白斜帶像穿著斜紋睡衣。

小知識

最大約 50 公分，棲息在澳洲南部沿岸，多數出現於 40 公尺以內，最深可達 260 公尺。吻部近乎管狀，以蛇尾類、多毛類和褐藻為食。種名 recurvirostris 意為「上翹的喙」。

Up to 50 cm, endemic to southern Australia and most common above 40 m, though recorded down to 260 m. Its snout is almost tubular, and it eats brittle stars, polychaete worms and brown algae. Recurvirostris means "upturned beak".
