簡介

如同一朵在海流中綻放的紫粉色水下蓮花，背部露鰓散發出迷幻的紫紅螢光，是微距潛水員必拍的明星物種。

Resembles a blossoming magenta water lotus, its glowing purple cerata fluttering gracefully in current-swept reefs.

種名源自蓮花（Lotus），其修長茂密的露鰓叢宛如層層花瓣，專門攀附在強流礁石上的樹枝狀水螅群落中覓食與產卵。

Named after the lotus flower for its petal-like cerata, it lives predominantly on arborescent hydroid colonies to feed and deposit egg ribbons.
