A flat, elegant sea slug etched with distinct longitudinal ridges and outlined by striking margins of jet-black, pure white, and vibrant orange.

Belonging to the family Arminidae, it lacks dorsal cerata or feathery gill plumes, respiring instead through gills located beneath its mantle edge; its bold longitudinal stripes serve as a warning of chemical defenses.
