Dusted with shimmering pearl-blue speckles and dark dashed lines, resting gracefully across sheltered mangrove shallows and rubble flats.

Spangled with rows of iridescent pearl-blue dots along its flanks; thrives in sheltered inshore bays, mangrove estuaries, and tide pools, often scooping mouthfuls of sandy sediment to sift for micro-crustaceans.
