長相兇惡、牙齒極度銳利的海鰻。肉質雖然鮮甜，但佈滿了Ｙ字型的細小骨頭。

A fierce-looking marine eel with incredibly sharp teeth. The meat is sweet but filled with Y-shaped fine bones.

日本料理中著名的「鱧」料理，廚師必須使用極為精湛的刀工將其細骨切斷而不切斷魚皮。

In Japanese cuisine (Hamo), chefs must use masterful knife skills to finely slice the bones without cutting through the skin.
