The flag-bearer of the Red Sea. Carries a long white dorsal filament that elegantly waves in the water current.

這是紅海的特有種，通常生活在水深較淺的珊瑚礁頂部。與其他馬夫魚一樣，主要吃浮游生物和底棲無脊椎動物。
Endemic to the Red Sea, they usually hover over shallow reef tops. They use their elongated snouts to pick small invertebrates from the coral.
