身形修長纖細如梭，體側帶著溫柔的粉褐與淡白漸層條紋，在溫亞熱帶礁岩與細沙交界處輕快巡游。

Slender and torpedo-like, painted in gentle shades of rosy-tan and ivory, hovering swiftly over rocky reefs bordering sandy flats.

小知識

廣泛分布於東亞溫亞熱帶沿岸海域，偏愛棲息於砂石混雜的礁盤邊緣；遇到驚嚇或夜間入睡時，會像泥鰍般以極高速度鑽入底砂中隱蔽全身。
