背上每一節都蓋著「Y」字印章，滿身剛毛一碰就火燒般劇痛，絕對不是軟毛。

Stamps a tidy "Y" on every segment like a quality-control inspector, but the bristles are strictly look-don't-touch.

小知識

體長約 4–10 公分，棲息在 20 公尺以內的淺海軟底與潮間帶沙灘。剛毛含神經毒素，碰到會灼痛；香港荃灣海灘曾出現大爆發。1868 年命名的模式標本只剩一隻疣足。

About 4–10 cm long on intertidal sand and soft seabed above 20 m. Its bristles carry neurotoxins that burn skin, and Hong Kong beaches at Tsuen Wan once saw an outbreak. The 1868 holotype is just one parapodium (a leg) on a slide.
