小知識

最大約 14 公分，多半獨居於 5–20 公尺的岩壁與避風的泥質海灣，以魚類與甲殼類為食。圈養觀察證實可雙向轉換性別；1842 年自長崎命名，種名 aureus 意為「黃金」。

Up to 14 cm and mostly solitary at 5–20 m on rocky cliffs and sheltered muddy bays from India to Japan and China, eating fishes and crustaceans. Captive fish can switch sex either way. Named aureus (gold) in 1842 from Nagasaki.
