A tiny South African snail in a patchwork pattern, so glossy it looks glazed, and named "mosaic" without any attempt at subtlety.
Shell about 2 cm long, from a family famous for glossy, glazed-looking shells. Described by G. B. Sowerby II in 1846; records come mostly from the South African coast (East London, Jeffreys Bay), and collectors rate it uncommon.
